Here is a colossal sized alligator mandible from the Pleistocene of the St. Marks River, Florida. The Latin species name is Alligator mississippiensis. This specimen measures 11 7/8" long. This specimen was from a monster-sized alligator, easily a 10'+ animal. This is the largest alligator mandible I've ever offered for sale.
