Mexican amber is from the Miocene and Oligocene epochs and is 22-26 million years old. Mexican amber like Dominican amber formed from the hymenaea protera tree. This pieces comes from the source. These could be cut, carved, polished or kept as a museum specimen. This has superb gem clarity. Here is your chance to get two nice large pieces of this otherwise hard to get amber.
