Balticamber is afossil resinderived from extinct coniferous trees, Pinites succiniferand/or Pseudolarixsp. It was formedduring the Eocene and Early Oligocene,35-40 millionyears ago. Insects, other animals, and plant material, trapped inthe resin, became perfectly preserved in amber, and represent rarespecies, most of which are currently extinct.
Amber specimens present a tremendous interest forscientific study, and, thanks to their natural beauty, have a great aesthetic value. It is hard to find another gem stone which possesses asmuch warmth, light, and mystery as amber. I accept PayPal, cashiers checks and money orders. All items are shipped after the payment has cleared. Shipping cost is $5.00 ($6 international).
