Fossil Ammonite - Location: Mahajunga¸ Madagascar. Here we have a cut and polished half of an ammonite that is late Jurassic (160 to 140 million years) from Mahajunga¸ Madagascar. This is an aesthetic fossil ammonite specimen. It is a nice looking display piece and the internal structures are clearly visible. The interior is made up of calcite colored by various iron compounds.

Small Cabinet - Small cabinet specimens must fit completely inside an "imaginary" 3 inch cube. In our ebay titles look for "-SCB".
Cabinet - Cabinet specimens are those larger than 3 inches (too large for a 3 inch cube). In our ebay titles look for "-CAB".
