Polished ammonite fossil stone bowl with one raised, dimensionally carved ammonite fossil.

Background stone with smaller fossils.

Beveled or "two-tiered" carved edge.

About Ammonite

Ammonites are an extinct group of marine animals. Their closest living relative is not the modern Nautilus, which they resemble, but rather the octopus, squid, and cuttlefish. Their fossil shells take the form of flat spirals and are responsible for the animals' name, resembling a tightly coiled ram's horn - the Egyptian god Ammon was commonly depicted as a man with ram's horns.

Shipping
Please calculate postage before bidding. Insurance is required on all items shipped (included in shipping costs). Items are shipped on Wednesday of each week (please contact us for rush order requests). We will provide insurance information to any buyer who's item is damaged in transit, but cannot be responsible for carrier's services. Shipping cannot be charged to buyer's or third party's shipping account. Combined shipping is offered on items that can be shipped together in one package. Paypal items must be shipped to confirmed address on file with PayPal.
Returns
Please ask all questions before bidding. We accept returns only if item is significantly not as described and only within 3 days of receipt. Shipping costs not refunded.
