Dominican fossil amber is known for the clarity and variety of its inclusions.  Such things as insects, arachnids, and botanicals can be found.  This small, fully-polished piececontains a well-preserved bark beetle.  The insects can be seen easily at arm's length.  The piece itself weighs 0.9 grams and has approximate dimensions of 1 cm length, 0.5 cm width, and 1 cm height.  I hand-sanded and fully polished this piece from rough originating from La Toca Amber Mine in the Dominican Republic.  This piece could be used as a specimen or in a piece of jewelry.  I also offer rare Dominican blue amber specimens forsale and am currently listing a very rare piece of blue burmite amber from Myanmar (ends Saturday).  Thank you for your consideration.  This amber will ship worldwide at $4.00 U.S.  I will combine items to save on shipping for up to a 10 day period.
