This is a museum quality group of 3 unusual fossil teeth I collected in a cement company quarry (Blue Circle Quarry) in coastal South Carolina! They are all posterior (crushing) teeth from the extinct Horn Shark, Heterodontus sp. The condition overall is the best, with each tooth having a complete enamel crown & a complete root structure. These are as good as can be!!! The largest tooth measures a bit over 1/4" in length. They were found in Upper Eocene age deposits, in the Santee-Cooper Marl Formation Formation, in Dorchester County, South Carolina near Harleyville. Good luck!!!![]() | |
